Dynaco PAT-4 solid-state stereo preamplifier and control center with brushed-metal faceplate and black metal chassis. Introduced in 1967, the PAT-4 was designed for use with a separate power amplifier and provides selectable phono, tape-head, tape-amplifier, tuner, spare and special-source inputs. Front controls include source selection, volume, balance, independent channel bass and treble adjustment, high and low filters, loudness, tape monitor, stereo/mono channel switching, power switch, and input and output phone jacks. The rear panel carries paired RCA inputs and outputs, a phono ground terminal, attached power cord, fuse holder, and switched and unswitched convenience outlets.
